Magery and Runebooks

Hey had a magery question. Do I need to have any magery at all if I use a runebook to recall? I've always had around 40 or so and never failed but could i drop it to 0 and still be successful?

You don't need magery to use a runebook if you're using recall scrolls to charge it.
