Lumberjacking stuck at 105

I know you can't raise Lumberjacking past 100 through combat, but I WAS able to get it to 105 by chopping logs. Unfortunately, after eating a 110 power scroll it seems my skill won't budge even after roughly 15,000 logs.

My skills are 100 Anatomy, 100 Healing, 105 Lumberjacking (110 cap), 100 Magery, 100 Resist, 100 Swords, 100 Tactics.

I tried pointing Anatomy down.
I have eaten.
Any other suggestions other than skill scrolls? I was really hoping to chop all the way to 120.

Good luck with that. I tried raising lumberjacking through chopping alone also. It's ridiculously slow. I mean it is painstakingly, crazy, ungodly slow. I'm now at 111.7 skill and I've sold probably half a million normal logs since 100 Lumberjacking skill. Trust me, that takes a loooonnng time. Skill Scrolls are almost a necessity unless you really like chopping wood a lot. I'm now finally looking for LJ skill scrolls because at this rate it will take years to max out LJ through just chopping alone. If you think 105 is slow, just wait til you pass 110.

Good luck with that. I tried raising lumberjacking through chopping alone also. It's ridiculously slow. I mean it is painstakingly, crazy, ungodly slow. Agreed. It does raise through chopping, but insanely slow. I am at 114.5 with 115. Probably going to drop the 0.5 and use a skill scroll. My only word of advice would be to lock your LJ when chopping if you plan on using scrolls. It seems you always get that "lucky" gain right after you eat a scroll and you have room to gain.

Good no know guys, thx. Seems weird that between 100 - 105 it raises at a decent rate, then it instantly becomes so hard at 105. I've now chopped almost the same amount of wood as it took to get all the way from 100 to 105 and just had my first gain.

Yep I noticed the same thing... once 105 is hit, it seems like a brick wall. I think 105 must be a significant threshold in the server code for LJ....
