LOWERPING OFFICIALLY SHUTDOWN

With Lowerping now officially down and being EU based in Cyprus, I am calling out to fellow EU / non US based players for some advice on what to use. I can't play without VPN and would like to know what you guys recommend based on experience, price etc. (WTFast, Battleping etc.)

Yeah I noticed the same today when I was trying to connect to it. I tried Battleping and it seems to work the same way as LowerPing. Only 30mins of testing and the shard might be abit buggy aswell atm but it seems to provide what I'm looking for so I'm gonna buy the membership for it.

Never used battleping. I use WTFast for multiple games and the free version is pretty good. I was never able to get uosteam to work right with it on here, but it works fine for sallos.

Having briefly tried both I can say Battleping is a lot more stable. I would still recommend to all to try both as results may differ based on your location/connection.

I used to use WTFast. Right now I'm not using it. It works with Sallos as well.

I can tell it helps for higher pingers. I used to have 100 mega optical fibre connection and I still saw a difference in gaming when using it.

Does this actually work? From a networking perspective this seems ********. If your provider and other involved party's do their routing properly and there are no issues with the route (congestion, hardware issues) this would actually give you a less optimal route.

Yes. My ping went down a bit on UOF and on some shards where I ping more it can go down even more. But the biggest reason why I use VPN for gaming is it gives more stable connection (less spikes etc), which affects in PvP. VPN aren't only used for gaming. Maybe try google a bit
