Looking for advice about this wonderful server

Hi everyone,

I've played on this server a few years ago, I really really enjoyed my time here, but due to life (becoming a dad) and losing everything I had on the server I've stopped playing.

Lately I'm having more time to enjoy myself and would really love to make a come back and that's the part where I need advice since I have absolutely no clue what I'm doing.

My character on the server is a archery bard, I remember back then making him to farm and start making money to eventually get rolling so I can start a pvp character without worrying for money.

Here's where I need advice :

Right now my character is butt naked and since I'm enjoying the server (or at least used to) I'm thinking about spending some money to get donation coins and sell an item to get myself rolling again. Is this a good idea? Is there a specific item I should get to resell?

After that, my next step will be to farm money on my character to really amass enough gold to start macroing a pvper (Most likely a melee dexxer). Are melee pvper viable?

Item to buy from the dono? Just sell the coins themselves.... usually doesn't take long to shift them especially on the discord server :) think i sold mine within about 20 mins of posting in the buy/sell channel.

Not really needed though as to get going again all ya need is a bow some arrows and an instrument :) my archer/bard just wears any old srmour i happen to find, don't have to worry so much about getting back to my body after being pked surrounded by 10 dragons haha! But wouldn't hurt to have an initial buffer of cash amd support the server :D i just did so i could actually add walls to the house plot i bought haha and maybe get sombre pheonix armour so i really don't need to worry about losing armour ;) hehe

Also don't feel that you HAVE to donate. I think if you just try a bit you'll see how quickly you can get invested and going without donating.

Get an ethereal mount if you don't have one...can start off small and share one between your characters...one per acct isn't bad though. Get a small plot to call home (custom, not an old school style), co-own all of your characters across your 3 accounts and have fun!

Yeah like shortbus mentioned ethies are a very wise investments. As are chargeable trapped pouches. My advice is to make new chars on new accounts pretty early. You are allowed 3 accounts per ip. And be cautious about what chars are on what account. It's wise to have both pvm AND pvpers for every account
