Yep. But why not just macro a gm locked tinker box? The lock picking ss is a collectors item.

Yes you can use lockpicking SS' to GM it, but they are veryyyy expensive. GM tinkered boxes only take you to 95, so in my opinion your best bet is to hit dungeons and train that way. Pretty much every dungeon has chests you can gain off of. It just takes a few runs through and you'll figure out the good chests. Khaldun is especially nice since the loot in those chests are great, but it's also more dangerous
With that being said, I have 2 books locked down for public use at my Ocllo bank house. On the first floor, they have lockpicks on top of them. Good luck
Edit: When I trained this I did Khaldun 90% of the time. It took me about a week and I made about a mil gold in the process. There's about 10 or so chests to pick there, along with another 8 or so puzzle chests, both with a good 2-3k gold per and magic items. Having hiding/stealth is a big help since it can get dangerous there. The chests respawn in about an hour, so if you can stay on top of it you can GM very fast and make a ton of money in the process

I've never tried Khaldun but I can tell you regular dungeon chests are verrrrry slow. I have a run of about 10 I do and have been doing for a couple weeks and I think I've only gained about 1 point off them. I usually pick them on the 1st try.
That being said...are all dungeon chests created equal? If not, is the spawn of higher level ones random or based on location?

No all dungeon chests are most certainly not equal. Just like treasure map chests, they come in different levels. The spots that I have marked on my books are all ones that will give you gains. Like Don Key said, dungeon chest loot is pretty bad. Khaldun chest loot on the other hand, is amazing

Can confirm dwaynes books are good. I pretty much copied them exactly as they are and gain everytime I go out. I think I need to hit up khaldun tho, as the gains have been nowhere near as fast as dwayne has suggested. Ive thought about grabbing a couple scrolls myself recently.
