Lockpicking problems... help

Hey. So, I'm a new player at this server and I started rising my Lockpicking skill. By a third wooden box crafted by myself i reached 71 Lockpicking skill and it stoped rising. I have bought two different GM lockable boxes, but using both doesn't affected my skill, so I still have 71. I also heard something about dextirity, i have 100 and i read that its not good for lp skill.
I would love to get some advices. What should i do now, why my skill isin't rising and where to get a box wich would help me ?
P.S. I know a lot of people write something similar, and i have read that, but that doesn't helped me.

what lvl tinker/carp did u craft first box at? Sounds like u need someone around 70 tinker skill to make u a new locked box u can use untill you high enuff to use the gm box.

i dont have a 70 skill tinker thou sorry i cant help more

Check to make sure youre not maxed out on skill points. You may need to set something to go down so that lockpicking can go up.

I think about 70s or 80's you start using a gm box all the way to 94.7

My Tink/Carp is 50 both. I used gm box, so maybe I need lower stats box.

Ok space available. Check the difference between the "real" points and the dispalyed points. If its like 2 or more you may actually BE gaining, just not seeing it happen while real catches up.
Beyond that, theys just some long dry spells... try picking in a dungeon.

Everything looks good and working, only skill not rising. Can anyone have 70 carp/tink and can make me a box for a try ? I would be very thankful

50 - 76 Use a 50/50 tinker box
76 - 95 Use a GM tinker box
95 - GM. Level 4 dungeon chests
This is 100% what i did and it went smoothly (inside a dungeon)

I have 71 skill now, and did that with both GM and 50 tink/carp box. No skill have rised, i locked boxes for about 2-3 hours.
