LJ doesn't rise above 100?

I applied a 105 LJ power scroll yesterday. Both the skills-menu in UO and UOS show the new cap of 105

Since then I have harvested about 3000 logs, killed a few earth eles and sparred for half an hour with another char. LJ doesn't move above 100.0. Eat/drink is full.

Lj is pointed up, I have a skill with spare points pointed down. In fact, my cap of 705 is already reached under "show real", but with other skills.

Am I doing something wrong?

Well for one you dont have to harvest wood to actually gain in LJ, use and axe in combat and youll get faster gains, other than that it seems like you should be gaining if you have LJ pointed up, and spare points pointed down it should at least replace those points. One thing you can do is try to Lock LJing or maybe even point it down for a minute while you train and then turn it back up again, or even try pointing another skill to Down. I think I had to turn two skills to DOWN for some odd reason

If your real is showing 705 already you have no "spare" point for LJ.

I've been locking and unlocking LJ a few times already. Now also two other skills pointed down.

Why don't I have spare points for lj, if some skills (with positive reals) are pointed down, and if lumberjacking is not yet at 105 (but stuck at 100)? My 705 cap is moving, btw. Healing is not yet at GM, going up, while hiding is nicely going down.

If hiding is going down LJ should now go up.

5 broken hatchets, 400 bandages to heal my sparring char, who gained 12.5 points in wrestling (now GM)... LJ is still 100.0.

Do you have > 100 in another skill? You get to go 20 points over 700, but only in the same skill. So you can't get 105 lj and say, fletching, and still be 100 pts on the rest of your five other skills.

No other skill above 100.

I thought about applying a SS, but wanted to do the first steps above 100 the old-fashioned way.

I dropped LJ to 99.8 and went chopping. Two minutes later, I was GM again. 6000 boards later, I was still GM. Hiding is pointed down and has ample points.

I then went hitting Deep Earth Eles in Shame 4. Made some money, but didn't gain LJ.

Could this be bugged now? Lj got a change with the last patch, so who knows.
