Lizardman Slaughter whats the point?

Ok, so I've been thinking of mixing it up a bit with my dexxer, gaining totem experience. So, instead of my typical routine of using
elemental ban, silver, and repond weapons, I decided to look into lizardman slaughter. However, after thinking about it, I'm not quite sure what the point is? Am I not aware of other type of lizardman spawns, other than the weak regular lizardman? Are there like lizardman shaman, or archers similar to ratman? Or is there some sort of lizardman champion that I could hunt with lizardman slaughter? Any constructive input would be nice, thanks!

Lizardmen are the primary source of spined leather which is pretty valuable for bods.

Yes, there are lizard man archers found in dungeons that drop lots o arrows and yes, the spined leather
