What do I not get xp on? I'm hearing mixed facts on no xp when mob isn't attacking you, no xp when mobs are provod. Xp max on mobs... Which is it?

Where is a good place to start on lvl 1?

You used to have to take aggro to gain but that restriction has been removed.
You will gain proportional to the damage you do and will gain more the higher the hp of the mob.
So where to start... pick your favorite slayer type and go out and kill the highest hp mob you can handle without having to run and heal a lot.
So silver weapon and mummies are a good start but it depends on lot on your preference of where to hunt and supply of slayers.

You can provoke or even have a tamer take the aggro. The ideal situation is partner with a tamer tanking big mobs and you just add damage. You will gain fast mobs will die fast and both players will profit.

It's all based on how much damage you do to difficult monsters. Paragons also give even more experience. There's no easy way to do it...just go beat up tough things and make some money.

For actual talisman XP, I do believe this is true but it does not apply to the individual relics.
