Don't fret. Fishing will not be adjusted.
This server would lose about... 20-25 people just from Trinsic ALONE if it was adjusted. B^W would be gone - we find no excitement on land here, and highly doubt anything with the upcoming expansion will change that for the long-term. Too many people would go back to farming on land after discovering that fishing "ain't half bad", then realize they're back to the old grind that got 'em to try Fishing in the first place.
Plus with galleons coming in, it would make no sense to lower the reward while raising the risk. Remember the early days of Fishing here. The Black Wind cost us 88,000+ gold with a -30% faction discount. Do you know how much donation coins were going for back then?
40,000 gold coins. That's right, the plague of the seas was bought for, effectively, 2,000 donation coins. This was back when, at GM Fishing, it always took about 4 hours per MiB and the chests were extremely light.
They'll make this awesome. Keep fishing, keep getting your powerscrolls. The damn expansion cover is 80% water themed, you think they're gonna' nerf it now after Alan's hard work on the galleons? Alan would choke a *****.

3 hours of running 2 115 fishermen. I got 15 MIBs. I'm pretty sure something changed, but I may of just had a bad run. that's only 2.5 MIBS an hour at 115...

And, well, Ansem is an idiot. I gave him the benefit of the doubt at first but clearly an idiot. He keeps blithering on about POWER in his other posts too, so either he's got major major psychological issues or he's that new scrub narbendarben that came from uoforever and is actually in POWER which brings us back to Famara's point: desperation for attention. They all suffer from it.

i slept, im back for another 50 hours, my goal this year is to get in 4000 hours fishing. new years resolution and shit , also , to super focus on what ansem thinks about me, if he thinks i fish too much then gosh darnit i must stop!

Yeah if they've changed it they might as well remove the skill in my opinion. I've done three hours soon with no more than 4 bottles in total using one fisherman with 120 skill.

Don't get me wrong. I like fishing. I'm not complaining about getting 1-2 mibs a hour. I actually thought this was standard and how it had always been.
I was just stunned by the apparent difference between what I am pulling up and what others are pulling up.

That's a good method. I personally try and find famara and or Trixa and offer their blood to the dirt. Usually works

I think we all have our occasional streaks of unluck. I'm just saying that there is no apperent need to worry about whether the devs may or may not have changed the fishing rates. In my opinion, at least.

I think I get a ancient bottle each 8th hour roughly.
I'll be editing the original post shortly once I've finished the statistics over fishing MIB's over 10 hours.
