Leaving new style boats?

How do I leave my new style boat (without recalling)? There doesn't seem to be a plank to open and the rope doesn't do anything. Thanks in advance.

Treat the rope as a plank. When it's red, it's "down". So double-click it to where it's red/down, then walk off towards land. If the land is to the west, walk from east to west onto the plank, and you'll teleport. It uses the exact same code for the planks, but it's rope on a deck, so it can be walked over and traversed normally, even with the rope "up".
