Whoever posts in the selling thread should have the merchandise. This is Bullshit and you know who you scumbags are. Ban the dipshits.

Specifics? I know some certain individuals who post fake selling threads so they can say that they got a rare drop from an rda or champ they raided when they actually didn't get squat.

but it shows that the selling is active meaning other things are active..

and i want to say that i have also brought this up, and the forum post was removed, so maybe that is why it was not seen :/

Isn't this scamming? Which via the forums is a bannable offense. But in game is not. So point to the selling post in question.

No way to honestly track it cause the people doing it use alt forum accounts. One could easily say some excuse as to why they never responded.

First time i've heard of this issue.
What exactly is happening here?

There are a very select few people who have a habbit of creating selling threads for items and then 'selling' that item at insanely high prices when they never had that item in the first place. This makes it so when they actually do get that item, it benefits them in terms of "Oh, I just sold one 3 days ago for XX million gold".

There really isn't a way to monitor it unfortunately but it happens fairly often. You also have friends/guildies bidding other people up in threads to help get more gold. Kinda ridiculous if you ask me, but... What can ya do? There isn't a way to prove it. But, we know it happens.

In game auction house that takes your bid out of your bank then returns if you get outbid.
