Guides are provided by Halygon and they are found in the new player section of the forums I believe. Also, if you need a runebook and full spellbook let me know and I will buy them for you. Everything else should be fairly easy to macro your skills up, etc.

I've been here off and on, been finding it difficult to make any money. I'm trying to level a tamer right now, but that's taking foreeeeeeeeever. I have my 7x Mace/Mage and a 6x crafter, thinking about adding alchy for his 7th... Still most of my time is spent farming ettins for money because I'm not strong enough for dungeons. Finally have me a vendor up, but it doesn't seem that Housewares and stonecrafting is worth anything in here. :(

As for crafting if you want to make moneys that way the 3 best options are
- Gathering period .. Everyone and there pack lama has there own crafter. But most cant be bothered to farm the required resources .
- Bow craft fletching .. for some reason crafting bows is lucrative because of the random slayer chance .. Slayer bow's Move quite easy. However if you have the patients (once again this relates to gathering) to farm feathers you can make a shit ton off of Arrows, There is never enough to be found.
- And finally inscription . Recall's , EV , Telekinesis, Gate scrolls are sought after like a 40 year old virgin left in the redlight district with a wad of cash.

Welcome to Ultima Online and the forum where magic happens...Or just random flames upon flames and LOLZ, but still it is great to have fresh new players that wanna learn, instead leave the server before giving the game a decent try. I hope your stay is just as welcoming, fun and exciting like the rest of us! By the way Rikku is a good name! Borrowed from Final Fantasy eh?!

Provos are a great money maker unless the trin grief guard are online - they will gank u 10v1 in khal, dry loot your corpse then claim they are protectors of all things good in Sosaria - lol

You should PM me. I have a fun guild for people new to UOF who are looking for a quick start. I have a big GuildHouse and lots of active Young players. We're primarily PVM now while everyone trains but I have a few pks and enjoy pvp. We hope to eventually get into higher end PVMing and have the PVPers to defend it all.

Best PVm template that's not a tamer:

100 Weaponry (swords, fencing, macing, archery)
100 tactics
100 provo
100 music
90 healing
80 anatomy
70 resists
60 magery
95 str / 90 dex / 40 int

This template only takes a day or two to train up (in my guild) and can farm you up to 50-200k an hour (with slayer weapons) depending on SS drops. Its also very versatile being able to recall easily (without worrying about being interrupted) from pk groups and move onto the next farm spot. Also being able to cast 1-6th circle spells is convenient as hell.
PM me if you're interested.

I only write some of the guides. For the most part I have been just managing them from one wiki to another as UOF has moved their data around over the last year.

Here is the current Wiki. It contains the best information, but is still being populated: http://www.uoforum.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page
**You can also access this with the "Wiki" menu at the top of this page.

Here is the old wiki. It contains everything that the new wiki does and more (it is not updated any longer as it is an old site so the new wiki above will have updated information): http://web.archive.org/web/20140701020512/http://uoforum.com/wiki/index/

If it is not in one of the above two sites, check out the Guides forum, which has quite a few player made guides: http://uoforum.com/forums/guides.22/

And finally, if you cannot find what you are looking for in the above places, do a forum search.

Good luck.

I'm going to try this build. It looks fun and right now I've not the patience to train taming for weeks.
