Just installed UOF, stuck at "verifying account"

Hello, I just installed UoF client and can't seem to get my account created. I typed in a username and pass, but the account won't start. It just sits there at "verifying account"...is there anything I can do to remedy this? Really excited to try the shard, and I just spent about an hour d/ling the client stuff any help is greatly appreciated. Hope to see you in game soon!

Have you tried creating an account with different credentials? Maybe someone is already using the account name you're trying to create?

Also make sure you're trying to log in to login.uoforever.com, port: ****.

You might find want to follow instructions in...

...other than that, try logging on IRC, you can talk directly with an admin there, while I doubt they lurk on the forums much, other than to address posts in the Petitions / Cheaters / Exploits subforum... Have you tried posting there, or sending an admin a PM, or logging on IRC?
