Is there a timetable for changing servers, or can you please just change back?

I was able to play and at least compete in PvP with the last server before it was changed, I'm not trying to sound asinine but I'm just curious-- is there a reason why you are sticking with this one when you have acknowledged how horrible it is? I do know it probably takes time and planning to swap but 500 ping all day while a select few people have -30 ping and run circles around you is pretty ridiculous. I mean it's like they got a Kentucky Derby horse and I'm riding a 30 year old donkey. The last server was fantastic and fast-- and I'd really like to be able to relevant while fighting. As always, I appreciate all you do any consideration taken into this issue. Thanks.

This server works a 110 ping for me in vancouver. the old server was shit for me. Its a damned if you do damned if you dont scenario.

I hate that the old one sucked for you, but I guarantee you there is 10 times more people that have worst latency than on the other end of the spectrum as in your situation. One example alone is that the server saves went from an average of 7 seconds to 29 seconds. I'm sure they won't go back to the other one, but my God something has got to give-- I cannot enjoy the game like this.

I have updated the main post with a new IP to the new host in DC.
We want to make sure DC is the place we want to be first otherwise it will just be a waste of money.

Wow I checked it. This server im at 500 ping, at the new location I'm at 50 ping. Looking so forward to it if this is the one.

I havent been able to play for 2 weeks. I paged telling them to hurry up and move the god damn server already because 2 weeks is a long ass time to be pinging 400 and I was jailed on two accounts. Been in jail now for 14 hours. I guess it's my fault that I can't play here...

I literally can't even sit down at the poker table without losing connection 3 times. Having played on this server for 2 years and donated over $50, I'd kind of like to stay here but was told last night in jail if I'm unhappy with this server then I should just quit playing it.
Kind of made me feel like shit about the staff as a whole, but I love UOF and don't want to quit playing it. I just want to be able to. and not Rot in Jail

If you can't play at this server then jail isn't a punishment anyway so... Stop whining show some patience and be happy that they are spending the time and money to continue to try and get it right. So yes when you page in game for an issue that is already being worked on and has been discussed thoroughly I would jail you to just to say don't waste my time unless you want me to waste yours.

It was the way you paged in Snickle, it was one of the most rude pages, in all caps, that we have had in awhile. You didn't just page in to say "hurry up", it was swearing, all in caps, and insulting the server in one page.
Staff members don't need to see that crap, nor should they have to put up with that.

Having donated 50$ over 2 years you've payed $2.08 per month to play here. Getting a couple weeks of lag, when in fact we HAVE been working diligently on the issue, seems okay to me. It is funny that the people who actually donate much, much more almost never complain and are the easiest to deal with WHILE also never raising the fact that they are donators.

We don't want to make a move, then have people lagging again, so this time we are covering our bases for sure and not making any quick movements.

In any case, we should be setup on the new server MONDAY / TUESDAY.
