So has the Halloween event quest start? I have been looking around for anything and I cant find a thing. It would be nice if they could give us an update on this.

I ran around last night once clock/date confirmed it was the 26th and killed a bunch of zombies and mummies and skeletons and liches to no avial - seems nothing stands out this morning either as being part of any Halloween Quest.

It was awesome last year and ran a lot longer.
I'm not sure what has changed, since I just got back, but it sure is disappointing.

Halloween is my wedding anniversary and no clue what we are going to do

I moved to this shard because a friend told me the staff here is active and provide new content to keep interest levels high - which I thought "yippie!"
But since coming here, I've noticed nothing but delays and lack of communication from staff who actually appear to to this as a full-time job. I'm not sure if they have any RL business experience, but here's a big tip - COMMUNICATION and INNOVATION is key.
Now me being a UOF newb gives myself limited credit, but after seeing other long term players give constant "wtfs" along with mentioning how certain additions are barely finished a year later is really disappointing. I've also seen some terrific ideas that are so simple to put in, to which no staff member even comments (ie that fragment dropping on tmaps thread).
No Halloween event and the month is almost over is really poor guys. Your players obviously really enjoy it, and it makes the shard boom with interactions.
Sorry for the harsh reality call, but if you take this objectively, you'll see im trying to help - namely to keep UO running as long as possible.

Well look at it this way. Few of us can play like we used to back in the dah...so sometimes we need to move stuff around in order to make events. They are always announced ahead of time. When plans change, as often happens, it can get a little frustrating.
But at the same time shit happens.
Just gotta take the middle ground and roll with it. UOF is a wild ride but there's a hell of a lot more good than bad.
