IP issue - Playing with friends living together

Hello there!

I live in a house (a university residence actually) with other people, and i want to introduce them (well, at least one, my favourite nerdy friend!!) to the phantasmagorical world of UO. How to make sure IP won't be an issue? Of course, we are different people, Admins can easily check that.
I have one account, with two characters on it, at the moment.

I got a friend from school to download UO yesterday, having him in Teamspeak whilst just starting was probably one of the funniest things that I have witnessed in awhile.

Be sure to make him wonder around aimlessly for at least an hour before helping him and you will laugh a lot.

"Shit I died again"
"Ok just find a wandering healer"
30 mins later
"I can't find a healer :/"

3 accounts per IP/household is what we decided.
We don't have the right to start asking people for personal ID, blood type and whatever else you may need to provide to prove your living situations. But 3 accounts allows 3 people to play! That sounds good!

I was going to start a thread next week to ask a similar question. Next Thursday-Sunday a bunch of friends and I are heading to a 48 person LAN party near Calgary, AB. During downtime between tournaments I was hoping to try to recruit a bunch of people to come play. Obviously, we will only be on the same IP address for the 96 hours of the event, and then everyone will head back home and it wont be an issue any further.

@Shane , can I PM you the IP address when I get there and find out what it is so that we can create them accounts if they are interested?

Thanks for the asnwers :D

yeah, we'll pay attention to never log in with more of 3 accounts on the same IP. Probably i'm going to do an account only for the residence and I'll use my regular and former one only at my house (different IP). Is that legit?

It's not being logged on 3 accounts with the same IP, it's ONLY 3 accounts per IP. You and your house mates don't get to make 3 accounts each and only use 1 at a time, between the lot of you...3 accounts.

*4th house mate is kinda SOL

My fault, i meant to say "log in with 3 accounts made in total on that IP". One account for me, one for my friend, another one for another person (eventually). Then i'll play with my actual account only at my house, and i'll use another account to play at the residence together with them.

In short, we are going to make 3 new different accounts to play together on the same IP, while my former account is intended for my house-use only.

3 accounts on residence IP, 1 totally different account (or maybe more, idk) on my house IP.

Lol, tax bureaucraucy is simpler xD
