Increase drop rate for relics

I have an idea that likely won't gain traction. Here goes!

Relic progress bar that fills up every time you are eligible for a relic drop. Not just eligible by 1pt of damage... but, say do 2500+ damage or <insert arbitrary number here>.
  • 25% chance of a random relic at 25 times eligible.
  • 75% chance of random relic at 50 times eligible.
  • 100% chance of random relic at 75 times eligible.
Values are up for debate of course. Perhaps they should be higher. 50/75/100 times eligible?

This way you can play a mini-game with yourself, have a chance for a random relic anyway, but also know that there is light at the end of the tunnel if you are patient and dedicated. Do you gamble or wait for the sure thing?

Think this sort of idea could gain traction?

I could see those % cut in half, but instead of % change it would be bonus % chance so like +12% increased chance. as much as i hate to say it a guaranteed drop would reduce their value by a ton.

also once you get any relic, your points reset, or you can only get a certain number of relics by this method to limit unlimited farming of them

but i like this idea

1 year+ no relics, less than 10 powerscrolls have dropped for me, waste of time trying to get a relic, better off farming endlessly for everything on here.

I don't think we need to increase the drop rate for relics.
Maybe we need to increase the number of dungeon bosses and things like that..

By sheer definition you would be breaking server rules by multi boxing 3 clients in a PvE scenario. I would enjoy watching u get banned of course.

its funny, i said the same exact thing to peav. i could probably farm the 5 mil or whatever doublestrike costs before i could actually get one from a relic drop. stupid as fuck.

This idea is very good (for champ also), but have to calculate a good points rate and eligible % for prevent price of relic go down... I think 100% chance min 200 250 times...
 
Arch Enemy:I've only gotten 4 or 5 relics....

complaining about getting 5 relics....that is pretty good drop rate if you ask me :)
