IMPORTANT FIX the ECONOMY on UOF

It is fine to have pixel crack But I think the majority of players are well past grade & Jr High school mentality now...at least I hope so and my point is still I will always hope that we do not fall the way of UOG when is pretty much a done deal...if I wanted that crap I would go back there. this server is supposedly on point with era of that time in UO.
You also have to remember half of those folks that play UO are high -- this may have something to do with it.

I feel ya, and I don't really get into the colored pixels stuff -- hell almost all my characters wear newbie clothing!
Most of my Chars wear Dark clothing such as black dyed newbie skirt and kilt,then armor. I know people feel as though they have to Dress special so they can stand out from the crowd.

I remember so many people standing out back in 99,2000,01 : Based on Skill, personality ,being a super asshle or really kind and helpful...I still remember those people , Based on their own persona, not what they wore or what their ride was.

What was UOG like when you left, if you don't mind me asking/?
I still have everything on UOG...if I wanted to go back I very easily could. The last time I played there was 2006, But I did log on this last year to play with Bathcat and Marty.. I forgot Marty's Chars.. B.Kitty knows who I am talking about but he is forum banned right now.lol but my point was it was a assault to my eyes . and pretty much to anyone with a iq of 12 or more.

Get away from crazy colors the Other "h" word died cause inflation and stupid colors the red charcoal green n blue r fine but frigging blue ice whatever horse is lil much. Thx staff for actually looking at player opinions. On other hand can't please everyone you have ur alls hands full.

The rates and BOD markets are in need of an update for sure. Could be handled easily, so I would like to see more of that.

I don't mind so much that some power scrolls and statues are common. That is bound to happen and happened on production UO. Power scrolls lying on the ground at the bank, etc. Not all of them need to be valuable because the desirable drops are what keep people coming back, not that every scroll that drops must be of worth.

That's more of a problem with letting a few greedy guilds run rampant at champs and take many of the scrolls to market that they don't need and sell for dirt cheap. Really ruined the scroll economy IMO.

More spawn randomization is a great idea though. Overworld and dungeon spawns to get people out there looking for new things. Or new collectibles that can be assembled for a reward like the legendary crafting stuff. More recipes and drops!!

You do realise with the proposed incoming trammel changes that scrolls will become even more worthless since there will be no reds to contest the champs (not that many get taken already as it is).

This is where we talk about your lack of understanding of economics.

If proposed changes are (rightfully) implemented, more "Trammy" blue guilds participate in champs. More "Trammy" blue guilds consume power scrolls that are dropped resulting in less scrolls hitting the market. Even if more players participate in champs there would be a decrease in market supply.

Demand for scrolls will remain relatively constant with influx of new players.

Result is a healthier market. Scroll prices will climb again which could be a good thing for you too in the event that your guild would sack up an assume the risk of (theoretical) stat-loss and successfully raid a champ. Until that time comes feel free to brazenly raid champs basically risk-free and stock up on scrolls. Your guild is a zerg now anyhow so why not.

I don't expect anyone in your guild to be smart enough to understand what I just said, especially you Aussies who are clearly the least intelligent of the lot. You guys just stick to clicking on things until they go away and leave the discussion for the grown-ups.

A heated debat this is and also very entertaining, keep them coming everyone. I can keep smiling when I take a break at work. Why not make champs only available on certain days? The weekends maybe? How about keeping them live during the week but only drop certain items like rares or statues. Three power scrolls for every champ lets say during a saturday/sunday deal would be cool. Since most of the youngins play when there isn't work or school involved. :)

Som idea . i havnt read it all now. But my Suggestion to Fix is a mix from all.

First.
Make a Table with all the Stuff that is on Mass on Server. And where the Market seems to stock.

Bod Clothes
Powerscrolls
Statues

Now make a Weight list.

Bod Clothes
Tier 1 = 0.5 Points
Tier 2 = 0.75 Points
Tier 3 = 1 Points
Tier 4 = 1.25 Points
Tier 5 = 1.5 Points

PowerScrolls
5er = 5
10er = 7.5
15 = 10
20 = 12.5

Stautes
no Clue around what Statues are alot on the Shard

Maybe add SoS Chests / Paragon Chests with like
0.25 points

Now do a a BattleWell like System. You turn in the Stuff and it will Pop Up an RDA for you and 4 of ya Buddies.
Safe One / Timelimit.
Limit in time you can Triger / Per Day.

SO the First time it will get used alot but with the Time after alot of Stuff got deleted off the Server.
Stuff will getting back Value.

And people using more there hoarded BOD's.
etc.
And people cant open these not more so often.

Powerscrolls are forever done. Can't believe the line worker is lecturing on this. Almost all 105s are 5-10k to buy. It'll never recover. A sink will just mean there is a use for them. Every man and his dog has used a 105 blacksmith or tinkering etc... And why not they cost 10k. You won't see 1000s of new players every year to consume the new powerscrolls. Artifacts and relics are the reason you do a champ...or pvp. However I am all for a gold sink vendor using scrolls etc.

It didn't take me several degrees in commerce and finance to figure this out Bromista. My eyes bled reading your nonsense, the world is now a dumber place.

Bromista is probably confusing economics with home economics, hence this abomination he tries to pass off as logic.

Seriously, I now think you're more ******** than before.

How on earth is more scrolls flooding to players going to do anything but increase supply and reduce value? Far out dude, read what you write next time lol

No, he is just basing his theory on the assumption that the number of incoming players will balance out market while blue guilds spread the wealth as opposed to the current red guilds that have most of the champ spawns on lock down. He is also making the assumption that the red guilds will not just jump onto blues and take the champ spawns anyways.

These red guilds have endless supply of 105-110s that cost 5k. That's so cheap you can buy it with newb gold!

There are now 120 minings etc for under 400k...ps are now worthless unless you get a top 120. Champs need more rares from common to rare instead of more dono changes.

We also need poker asap. Our vets are leaving/barely logging in due to lack of end game stuff besides meta pets.

I think you are a very intelligent man,However this mount business is a very slippery slope.as it was with the " the promise from Shane" that we would never have to log on and see the same {GARISH} colors our eyes were accosted by on UOG...well you know where that went . We are slowly closing in on having our eyes subjected to the same outlandish,gaudy & infantile colors that never existed when Richard Garriott ruled the roost. We now have outlandish things like" STROBE Robes" ect.. Now if we go on to colored Mounts then what? I left UOG for many reasons. I had a private Island and countless regs&pots and millions actually I don't know how many rares all because it was disgusting to log on and see the colors of a of a Five years old's imagination running rampant, It had degraded the quality of the game and drew in every 11-15 year old from Grandmas basement all over the world. I just could not play that.... that shit. and now slowly if people are honest with themselves, we are going in the same direction...I still remember Shane's original promise of us never going there.....please lets not make it any worse than fucking Strobe Robes.

WTF LOL

ps: noobs who need endgame cud try out pvp. oh too scared of da black nd white screen. solly.

You watch. Raids will continue but you'll see less of them. I see a dropoff of the off-peak hours activity and only so much when there's strength in their numbers because of tbag heightened risk. Which is really what this is about. Making players step back and reevaluate if the action is worth it. Now it's no question, you stand to make mils at the cost of not playing your char for two days and the gear worn to battle. Granted, if there's perma stat a few skill scrolls here and there don't amount to much but it's the inconvenience that needs to be there. That is out of balance.

I think the scroll market being healthier is just a bonus that will come with finding that balance. Damage is done for sure because things have been left unchecked. Hard to argue that, the future well that remains to be seen...

Really just needs to be more consequence all around.

I hate it when pvm blues comment on how pk changes will affect reds and what they will do.

Scrolls in the current state are forever screwed. Prices getting slashed literally 50% every month atm since there isn't enough new players to create demand. Cant see that changing given this game is old.

There is some truth to that. I will give you that.

But player behavior is pretty easy to figure out. It's not groundbreaking stuff
