Idea to entice blues into hunting reds

This will feel more roleplayerish, but....
I days of youre, when a town had a problem with the crminal element preying on its citizenry from to wilds beyond its borders, oft time the town elders would mount the offenders heads on poles along the road into town, to remind those of the consequences of their evil ways.
Imagine, riding to Britain, almost the the bridge.. rows of heads on poles, with postings of the one who turned that head in.
I think the blue PvPers would get out hunting more than for a few measly gold coins.
Add the one who turned the head in, also gets a container with the criminals head to adorn his porch? I'm thinking a lantern with a ghoulish sort of light y=that just says like "Container with the head of the murderer Crazy-Horse" of something like that.
Yeah.. more work for those running the show... throw it to some volunteers :)
Just an idea to make the whole red vs blue thing have more meaning.

This has been suggested a few times: head on a pike. Deed that you use to target the fresh head of a fallen red, mounts it onto a pole that is placed in your house and prevents that head from decaying.

I don't think it would effect the way people play in any way, but it would be cool as shit!

Were talkin age of conan style of stuff here, ancient times beheaded pikes. Next it will come to chopping off criminals head or witches

Well, the head on a pike for a few days to sort of bring the "we hunt down criminals" mentality going. The head in a jar (lantern) thing.. well thats what the blues woould really be wanting. And seriously, MOST heads turned in are probably the same player turning in his own head after it gets profitable. Who wouldn't want to display their own head for all to see? Who wouldnt want to buy the head of the griefer that keeps res-killing them?

Oh yeah, if there were some cool way to display them like that I would totally sit for an extended period of time to bait a PK into a trap with people hidden lying in wait. Wouldn't even care about getting that head the hard way with a fair fight :p

that flute is legit.


this is a good idea. +1 only should get the head upon turning the player in to the guy for stat or something though.
that way not everyone is killing each other for cool deco
I also suggest getting a post we can burn our female pks at. ;)

A better idea would be to have some statues (like the ones at the docks) near the bridge for the top 3 pk killers or something. Make this reset every month.

This way blue zerglings will feel like they actually have some relevance for the shard's pvp scene.

u can't gain from the same red for 12/24h and u don't get points if pk is from same ip
or u get points only if u stat them...

and if anyone is exploiting this just clear their points and jail them

Why don't we display the top 3 bounty hunters statues on the bridge instead of PKs? We do not need ppl to pay more attention to reds as is. Everytime I watch UOF live stream it's always shown who is the current top murderer and his/her murder counts. I honestly think this is more like an encouragement of being an outlaw than anything else. I wish the GMs would display the name of top hunter, murderer and price of his/her head but that's it. No need to mention how many ppl the murderer has killed. We r gamers. We love to lvl up and be recognized of our accomplishments.

To all GMs, in my humble opinion showing murder count is an encouragement and please consider to change that if that's not the intention of the game. Thanks!

Pretty sure he meant the bounty hunters, not the pks. PKs are well-loved on the server.

was suggested to add goats and sheeps for the poor man and those without 120 shagging.
