How should I smelt large amount of Colored ore

Hi im fairly new to the server (2weeks) and I have been saving abunch of colored ore and regular ore to smelt. Is it better for me to smelt it all in one big lump and hope that I get all the metal out of it, or try to average it out by smelting smaller piles of ore. Im hoping to sell my colored ingots so maximizing profits is important. My ore amounts are as follows. Thanks

1. 8000 iron
2. 500 dull
3.547 shadow
4. 622 copper
5. 251 bronze
6. 592 gold
7. verite 70
8. 295 valorite

Get 115 Mining and a pair of +3 gloves and smelt all the colors in one go. You will not fail. Iron you have a 50-75% chance to double the ingots upon smelting. So I would do in batches of 100 probably.
