How is the lost exp calculated for metas when they die?

I heard it was 1xp/1hp remaining on the mob that kills it. Others have said it's 3:1. Which is it?

@eppy just to avoid creating another thread, I'll ask this here:

Is there a standard multiplier for paragon hit points (e.g. 5x normal mob hp)? If not, is there a good way to approximate paragon hp? (e.g. more often than not between 4-6x normal mob hp)? Thanks.

According to Stratics:
It will have 5 times as many Hit Points, 5% more strength, 20% more dexterity and intelligence and all of its skills will be 20% higher.
Its base damage will be 5 points higher than normal and if it can normally inflict poison, it will be capable of doing it one level higher, although no higher than level 5(Lethal Poison). Its fame and karma will also be raised by 40%, or lowered if it was negative.
