Housing Plots?

Hello guys, my three friends and I are original UOers who are just getting started on this marvelous server. One question I must ask, is if there is any housing land available? I purchased a 2 story small log cabin and have yet to find a plot of land. Can anyone assist me with locating a place? Thank you all, i have been impressed with the sense of community here.

dude i am sorry. i have a family to tend to and its hard to regulate a set schedule. I really appreciate your help for me. Is there a way to contact you when im free? Thanks again dude

up to 9x9 isn't really too hard to find,.
and 9x11 is fairly doable as well - anything bigger and you might be looking a bit harder though.

at least, i haven't had too much luck yet.

I know a nice plot on Fire Isle that will go IDOC in about 1½ week.
It's located in a secluded area, no other houses in about 10 screens I think.
Private beach.
Says "a pirate fort" on the house sign.

If that actually makes it to idoc it's gonna be a blood bath.

Is there a trick to placing houses on this server? When i started i bought bought a rune from a shop that has scrolls and yesterday i recalled in and the house is gone. I wanted to use the spot for my first 48k gold house there but it doesn't matter which way i try put it down i get a message about someone obstructing it, or i get a message about putting it on top of someone. There is no one hidden there and im not on it.

Wondering if it was an old house and areas have since been allowed no housing?

You have to imagine the cursor target is the middle of house. Don't go by the image of the house which appears .

The UO game screen needs to be flush with the upper left corner of your screen (no black space) for the house placement tool to be accurate

Plots for log cabins and under are very commonplace, you've got to be doing something wrong

I love how helpful people are in the UOF community! My brother and I also just started back up playing after quitting shortly after Trammel. If you were us, where would you look for a decent sized house plot?
