House Key Question

I have a small tower, and my house looks to be blessed (orginal key). If I make a copy to give to a friend, is it blessed? Can it be blessed? I see the teleporter things (sorry, they didn't have them when I played, so I don't what to call them). Can I put one of them on a classic design house? I didn't see it as an option.
