House customization price

Having just bought a plot (8x12), I tried to customize the house, but it seems that the base price for making a change is 60k. I've asked around and some people said it should just be 10k (without making structural changes).

Does this price depend on the house size? Or are there some other factors taken into consideration?

But I haven't customized anything yet. I just opened the customization tab right after buying the house, and it said 60k. I didn't change any walls or floor.

The 60000 on the bottom right is not actually what you would pay for your house on the customization. You can see what your actual cost would be via clicking the commit button. You have to click the bottom right square to get to that main menu. It will tell you your total cost if you were to commit you do not have to commit it though. There is always a 10k cost on top of what you customize so do not do a small customization and commit it because you are going to eat 10k on that. Unless you have 10k to burn. It will save your customization so you can exit out and come back to add later without committing until you are ready to put the money into the house.
