Help with template and client issue

Hi all

Started playing yesterday and i'm facing an annoying issue + have a couple of questions

- playing with monitor res set to 1920x1080 , i can not seem to find a suitable resolution ( game window big enough to not loose my sight over it ) for the client. Each attempt at a bigger one ( done with UoSteam resize feature ) results in annoying black borders at the edge of my screen, becoming way more evident when running

Is there a solution for this that doesn't rely on lowering my desktop res ?

- planning on making 3 chars so far

- mage stun alch
-archer bard
- dexxer

i'm kinda sure on what to do with mage and archer but fairly unsure on dexxer.

my question is : i think i won't put poisoning in there as i've been told it takes a while to lvl, my plan was to add magery and a combat of choice between fencing and mace

which one of the two makes more sense ? is magery to 100 a viable choice on a dexxer ?

I've read quite some complaints topics about dexxers but can't figure about which specific tp they're referred to

Thanks in advance to those who'll reply

is it possible to achieve his result ( big client window and no black borders ) while mantaining my monitor res at 1920 ?

I use Razor, but generally you are gonna be stuck with a little extra black on the edges. You can drag your screen to make it fill up more of the screen, or maybe it slightly bigger than your reso but I like some black on the side. Just click the game window itself and drag it to make it fit better.

Just an fyi, you are allowed 3 accounts with 3 characters each. For a dexxer, any build that has the basics weapon/tact/anat/heal/resist will work. Macing is nice for pvp as it has the stamina drain which is almost like poison in that if they don't have potions to counter it, they will be dead in a few hits. I have seen dexxer with magery/inscription. Other complimentary skills include poison (really is a huuge amount of work, 2nd only to taming) alchemy, lumberjacking, magery, inscription...or even something simple like hiding.
If you want to pvp, macing is really fun. If you only plan to do pvm and maybe get a http://www.uoforum.com/wiki/index.php?title=Meta_Talismans I would go with the fencing, or even swords. Also, if you go with a talisman just make the 7th skill arms lore...the new change to arms lore means that with a talisman you will have a much increased accuracy...GREAT for those slower weapons like war hammer or war mace. (Arms lore is pvm only) Partial to fencing myself, but when it comes to pvp the macing is superior if you don't wanna use poison. War hammer, war mace, and qstaff are great.
