I am GM of Pro from UOG, we quit something like four years ago. Recently we have come back to uo. We have noticed there is some cheating going on these days on uoforever and for reasons unkown the people who run that server do not care to stop it. With that being said, How is this server? How is the community? How is the gm's? and more importantly how is this server's admin team? Is there a way I could directly contact them? I might be interested in converting to this server with my clan whose main interest is PVP. Given if we decided to stay I could probably bring other clans from UOG here as well.

Honestly one of the best free UO shards I have played on. Excellent community in regards to both PvP and the overall people who play here. GM's/admins are one in the same. They are very involved with the shard and community. Events are very common. If you want to get in direct contact with the admins, IRC is your best bet or message Shane.

Let me know if you guys need any help getting set up.

I came from UO:G myself and the biggest differences you will see is that cheating is not tolerated, most players focus on PVM and only about a fourth do PVP(like OSI was), and the staff listen to the players quite a bit. The events are also pretty damn cool. Check out the zombie event finishing up today.

I'd be willing to help get you guys set up -- macro regs, safehouse, etc. if you guys decide to make the move. I didn't really play UO:G, but I can always appreciate when a guild decides to join all at once. Keeping the interest active and together from the beginning will help you guys stick around. Hey ... I remember you guys from a while back. Ya all a buncha good pvpers ;)

Anyways, I myself switched from UOG too. It does suck starting over from scratch.. I played on that other shard for 8 years or so and had 1 of the top 10 largest guilds before I left. However, things got too boring there, there was no new dungeons, no new systems, there was a lot of inflation, no new spawn to PVM.. donation money was not really being reinvested back into the shard etc. Also there was a lot of accusations from staff cheating and the owner being inactive for months on end.

I made the switch to UOF and got some of my friends to switch as well. Overall, we all play UO to have fun. So think about it - why play 1 shard that you wont have as much fun on vs another that you can? This shard has active staff, an active owner, people cant donate for "gold" which results in a stable economy, there are new levels to pre-existing dungeons such as inside deceit, the ice dungeon, and also in shame (crystal cave).... there are also new dungeons to PVM/PVM in - such as the spider cave, the grotto (never been there yet before) .. there are also new tameables... there are no "trammy" looking ethy mounts... there are "RDAs" -- (random dungeon adventures) - these are fun mini dungeons with a boss at the end you kill and you can get power scrolls etc.... there are no skill balls - people actually have to leave town to train their chars.. staff also holds CTF events often.... they also PVP events at the docks often too.. there is also a zombie event in T2A going on now... they had town invasions going on just recently.. you accumulate points which can be redeemed etc... there are new craftable items.... PVP is pretty active in a lot of places.... houses don't cost 10x more than they should versus the other shard... like a 18x18 you can purchase for 700k - 1mil... people participate in champ spawns daily .. people can donate for "donation coins" (its not actual gold), but these dono coins can be used on vendors at brit bank for cool items/mounts - these vendors get updated fairly often .. also the money you donate can be accrued towards "tier bonus's".... there are also new boats on this shard and you can have boat wars and literally sink peoples ships haha... there are also "paragorns"... these are like "monster boss's" .. they are harder to kill - but they give better loot versus a non-paragorn dragon for example. This shard has very active forums... staff also checks IP logs so people cant create unlimited accounts to play on either which is good. Right now we are allows 3 accounts per IP address. I mean overall - if you ask me... if ya all give UOF a try - I really don't think you guys will regret it... its def a very fun shard that has staff adding tons of new content, new systems, there are also no offensive wands or bolla balls so pvp is more skill based vs item based ... also this shard does not have corrupt staff interfering with pvp or creating items for their own personal use or anything like that either . I am not here to speak ill of the other shard.. but this shard was a huge breath of fresh air - having played the other one for so long and having been frustrated with it.

In short... Best server iv ever played nice community and good population! You will not be disappointed more than anything you'll regret not joining earlier!

yeah remember chance from uoforever and a rp guild like Trin isnt his cup of tea. although we do pvp once in awhile in Trin we arent hardcore like his guild will be.

I doubt he is looking for a guild to join... if you are looking for a guild to ally though chance... you should consider POWER.. one of those guys i am pretty sure you know ;)

POWER probably needs more people to fight, not ally with.
