Has the raffle 30x30 been claimed?

I dunno about 45 days. It doesn't really inspire alot of loyalty to the server. I'd rather see nice prizes going to faithful UO:Fers that can find the time to log on once a week at least.
It was more in regards to Bromista's "indefinite" amount of time. I think 45 days is rather long too, that's several lifetimes in a MMO, especially one as unforgiving as UO.

I'd say it's conditional if the person has not been on for like 2 weeks then I say redraw today but if it's only been say this week he has not been active I'd give 7 days this needs to go to someone active

The person created their account logged in bought a ticket and with less than 3 days of playing disappeared and hasn't been back. So Bromista is right, give them infinity days to claim this prize so the house can take up space and never be used.

If it's like project said then no question this has been enough time if it's someone who just joined and has not been on since

If not playing the server for 45 days shows no loyalty then why would an ageless house exist in the first place?

Logic, folks. Get some.

The house doesn't have to be anything more exciting than the farm plot it was placed on. Dirt plot? Fantastic.

It's an ageless house. It no doubt generated donations for the server which is largely what a donation raffle is about, no?

Who cares?

For fucks sake people.

There are basically no more than five bits of important pieces of information that should be disclosed when running a raffle:

Eligibility

Price per ticket

Start time

End time

Deadline to claim winnings

So let's please try not to be so dramatic. This is a situation that is easily rectified for future raffles. As for this instance I think you all need to slow the hell down. Nothing was said about a deadline until after the winners name was drawn. Allow for some freaking wiggle room jesus christ.

Three days is nothing.

Yeah I guess wreckognize's "morals" flew out the window when he didn't win.

Lawl.

Seriously though, give the guy some time like it has been stated he could be on vacation or unable to play everyday due to real life. Would also like to state I didn't purchase a raffle ticket so my opinion isn't clouded by greed.

You not buying a ticket means you just wouldn't care if the house rots. To some people who didn't participate no one getting anything would be the most satisfying outcome because then everyone is just like them.

I am not against the 7 day thing, I am against the infinity thing. The guy never even lost newbie status and hasn't logged in for over a month. Can he come back? Absolutely. Will he come back? I wouldn't count on it, people jump on this server to try it out and leave all the time.

Please, you'll have to excuse me for all my haters sakes. They can't control their outbursts.

The fact remains, Bromista was incorrect. I know he wants to look like such a nice guy and all, but in reality, every raffle and lotto works the same way; with a time limit to claim the prize. So it goes without saying that there should also be one for a UO:F raffle, even if it wasn't mentioned.

In this case, there is another factor: every raffle on UO:F has had a time limit in order to claim the prize. So several people like noobs have purchased tickets with that also in mind. It isn't fair to keep noobs waiting for a re-draw as he would have purchased his tickets excepting a re-draw if the prize wasn't claimed in a reasonable amount of time.

The reason for a re-draw is simple, if the winner is deceased, there's no point in having the prize sit in limbo.

Shane has already said the re-draw is today. He should be doing the things he says he is going to do. Now players like noobs are going to be upset, over what? It's the weekend, the guy has the rest of it to log on and claim his prize, that's reasonable. 1 week is also a reasonable amount of time, especially because it falls in line with the amount of time ticket purchasers would have been expecting for this specific draw.

I have to admit, I disagree with you on a lot of things, but when someone makes sense, they make sense. And that made a lot of sense. The infinity limbo guys are taking crazy pills.

im just thinking about what is better for the shard as a whole here, not trying to boost my image by pretending to be a nice person.

I'd rather one player be upset but have a reason to blame himself for not logging on for the draw date, than have every other ticket purchaser lose faith in the server.

I am all for giving 7 days for the house to be claimed but it is extremely frustrating that 1 thing is said (re-draw Sunday) then another thing is done (re-draw Thursday). People would be much happier if things that are said, are done instead of changed 4 days later because of the few vocal people on the forums.

This happens with other things to. Systems to be implemented, events to happen, etc, etc. One thing is said on the forums and when the day comes, it is changed. Happens all the time and to be honest has been one of the reasons for my decline in playtime along with several others.

Not everyone uses these forums on a regular basis.

I can't recall (and can't check as I am at work atm) but is the winner announced on the pop up when you first log into game? I usually just x it out without reading :(

I would be nice to see that pop used to also promote any player events happening that day or announcements like this.

the draw date and time is available in the [raffles menu
also the name of the winner is on there for each draw as well.
so incase you miss the global server announcment that happens when the timer is up, you can always check using [raffles or clicking the raffle vendor

Give him like 2 weeks, what's the rush? People have jobs, go overseas etc so may not play for months at a time. Give the dude a break.
