Hard Lags - DDOS ?

I'm sure it will continue. Develop will get a new host, it will happen again, and so on until ddos "protection" gets implemented.

I was playing fine for about 10 mins ran out to get my first of the weekend loot got lag killed my a horde of 5 ettins they took my stuff lol had to re log in about 20 times crashing everytime to try and hunt them down luckily found all the stuff and teleported to town ... I haven't been playing here as long as most but I've had more issues than proper play hours here

It's fairly obvious who is doing it. Battle for the last remaining uo players. I call it 'donation wars!'.

Sucks that they resorted to this, that damn tricky transgenda!!!

We've been getting DoS attacks pretty much non stop consistently for awhile now.
It's getting pretty sad.

We are still working on it though and will get through it, patience is your best friend at the moment.

Look at a particular shard and their owners. That's who is doing it ;)

Please refrain from pointing fingers since no one has any proof and it is just all conjecture. The last thing we want here is some huge witch hunt over something no one has any proof over. Not sticking up for anyone, it's just a dark hole we don't need to go down as a community here and i think we are better than that.

I don't want to point fingers but archersnon has not been receiving his daily poker allowance. I think he may have even threatened to shut down the world.

Impossible to find the source, however Shane is working hard behind the scenes to minimize the effect of the attack, as you can see it now lasts a few minutes instead of a few hours.
