Since this change was put in place - me and some others were wondering if our alliance is "grandfathered" or not. I was wondering why this change was put in place and what this change benefits? We are now all wondering when we log on each day if we are all going to be able to still play with our friends.. or if our alliance is going to be totally dis-banned
Its not really as big as it looks... surely there are 1000 names "combined" within it amongst all of our guilds... but when you factor out peoples alts , and inactive players... its not really a lot of people.
In regard to my guild in particular - I booted out about 20% of my roster this week since they were last logged on in 2014. Even on weekends , i hardly ever have 1 full page of people "online". When you look at all of these alliance guilds , a lot have less than 20 active people in them.. im not going to name specific guilds in this message though.
[12/10/2015 3:19:12 PM] GluttonySDS: hey, whats the reasoning behind the alliance changes?
[12/10/2015 3:19:19 PM] GluttonySDS: i feel like its only hurting your trammy players
[12/10/2015 3:19:33 PM] GluttonySDS: anything that limits the sense of community in UO
[12/10/2015 3:19:45 PM] GluttonySDS: just gives people less incentive to log on and play
[12/10/2015 3:20:03 PM] GluttonySDS: so those blue trammies who used to log on to chat in alliance chat and maybe farm with eachother
[12/10/2015 3:20:08 PM] GluttonySDS: now have empty alliance chats
[12/10/2015 3:20:40 PM] GluttonySDS: just my $.02 -- this change doesnt affect EQMS at all, in fact it probably would make us stronger as alliances that used to be large are now all fragmented into smaller groups
