with Sallos you can't macro your explosion potions. There isn't any kind of macro/recording options.

I didnt say that Sallos macro'd the explosion potions and it's really not that hard to throw them yourself. I'm saying they do wayyyy to much damage and people are wayyyy too dependant on them. #NotOldSchoolUO

I will agree with you friend, client pvp is gay, most of these 'pvpers' or zerglings rely purely on target macros. Targeting off-screen is a gay feature.
I use razor only. And with that, i don't automate pvp at all - although my tamer now has a recorded dismount/mount macro as of like a month ago if that counts.

I also don't get why I don't have any arguments now when I've clearly shown that you're just another crying trammy in this thread who has little to no PVP experiences (apart from that time in 1999 when you were top notch and the captain of your high school's football team). I think the young status is just up to personal taste
I say reduce young player benefit. They have a trammie dungeon. Fine that lets players get established without getting fucked repeatedly. They shouldn't be safe anywhere a normal isn't safe outside that trammie dungeon. Period. It's nothing short of stupid to allow a young to farm deceit without the risk of pk. When my char was young i just laughed at pks. Absolute shit game mechanics.
As far as skill caps and gm caps, they dont work. On my young when i was farming the trammie dungeon to get started on this shard i just locked my skills and kept on till my time limit ran out. I had nearly 1 mil by that time from the trammie dungeon. Easy.
Also everyone is either oblivious to the action camera or ******** for not thinking it should not be opt-in without a prompt at the very least. For those who don't know everyone by default is being streamed on twitchtv for all to see with a 30 min delay. The issue here is new players dont know this and often will farm slow, run around instead of recall, and frequent the same areas. This stream sniping allows pks to greatly increase their odds of finding new players and killing/griefing them.
Think you are hunting in a hardly traveled area? Doesn't matter. Stream exposed you.
Yes this can be disabled. But how do you expect new players to do this when they might hardly grasp the game to begin with. Let alone shitty custom features like this

What i'm saying is players should be able to farm without a guaranteed (near 100%) risk of a pk showing up because of being unwittingly stream sniped. That is not how the game is supposed to be. It also makes end game content like champs ******** because they take longer than 30 mins. Guess what? I can sit back on my pk and watch the stream waiting for champ to spawn then pop in at last minute and fuck everyone up. Again this isn't about some risk. This about lazy shit pks exploiting the game through a stream snipe.

I stated, I don't mind donating, And i dont mind that people donate for fancy items, What i do mind is people have a PAY TO WIN experience going.
By all means donate, and receive fancy clothes, But make them Non Tradeable/Droppable. So that we can see who the people supporting the shard are. (atm we can tell by all the fancy colours, huge houses and insane weapons)
Defiance UO went the same way as this server is at the moment, more and more trammel, It was closed a couple of years after.
If you kill somebody for 100 regs and a power/vanq weapon, You should feel like you've accomplished something, Not that he can go back to a chest with another 1,000 weps and 10k-100k regs because he bought a donation bundle and sold it.
There is no counter to explosion potions, And its not difficult to set up you can make a razor macro and just either have it auto throw them, or click last target to throw when you're ready.
What im saying is Heal pots have a cooldown where as explosion potions dont. The majority of PvPrs on here at the moment cant pvp, All they do is run a macro to throw explo pots and think they're awesome by following and left clicking. UOR should have some skill based PvP, (nox lock in 5x) (drops, and skilled times in 7x) Not press F1 to start explo macro, follow somebody until one of you run out of pots.
Really removes the skill, I'm guessing you're one of the few "newbs" that cant PvP so instead build alchemy characters.

And to others, It would be fun to play UO again, But there's no way i can convince my friends (Avid PvP'rs and a couple of thieves) to play. The main requirements they want just arent here.

who were you on Defiance? Your understanding of how explosion potions work is flawed. (and they do have a cool-down inbetween throwing them + a countdown) I also don't get how explosion potions are stopping you from 5xing in any way or fashion.
You are also comparing DFI's donation system to UOFs which can't be done IMO as they're very different - on UOF you only get WEARABLES, and other FASHION ITEMS for your donation coins while on DFI you could buy ressources, gold and basically anything as long as Light was in need for some irl $ (RIP nick)
