holds 32 maps, not blessed, take the map out before you dig. Really just a space saver for those of us that have massive amounts of maps

Ok so you don't want to take the book with you in case the worst happens if it is full. Thanks for the info.

Don't really even want to take an empty book at 100k vendor value or 75k player to player value. Wand also isn't blessed

The wand allows you to turn chests into ingots. It's only like ten though. The biggest advantage is that it works on the ones others left behind.
