Yea I watched a dude earthquake on a boat for 3 hrs last night i eventually came to the fact i won't be doing this event. :/ but I am glad it has been brought to attention. I understand doing it in homes and boats NOT afk, yes thats cool. I can go place a house if I change my mind, but the chances of me catching up by now are ******** since I have 30 hrs of work left to my week

I wasn't asking if it would be combined with the regular event points. What I was getting at was, if the invasion score would be converted to some new "Giants Event points" like the battle score is. Based on your reply it sounds like the invasion score will be our actual currency for the giant event rewards.

What do we do with the event points when we are done?
There will be special rewards offered at the end of this event in which you spend your event points on.

why is someone earthquake mobs stopping you from doing the event? there are plenty of giants to kill
if you really can't handle someone else getting points you could just go kill all those mobs. or stand in his EQ range. plenty of options outside of complaining

Event So far
Event starts we are kickin ass boom new mobs spawn and we all die " lol" lets gets restocked and go again. we get a corner and start to pull spawn at a controled rate and boom all the pussys cry that its to hard and all the good spawn/drops get removed and the event ends up super easy (Not staffs fault).
Now after you cried and made the event super easy you are suprised people are afking it? you cant have it both ways IMO original mobs should of been left exactly how it was and people should of adapted not cried on IRC for staff to nerf it and we wouldn't be in the situation we are now with people aking it?
I guess im from a diff generation of gamer when people adapted to a games difficulty rather than cry and expect to have rewards handed to them on a plate.

I think they could have sprinkled in some "boss" mobs every once in a while to make things interesting. The problem was they dropped a big pack of special mobs that were chucking boulders like crazy. Having them sprinkled around the town and not in one big group and it wouldn't have been such a big problem. Plus it was the beginning of the event and you drop in a group of high end mobs right away.
It doesn't need to be a feast of famine situation. The staff was present and could moderate it a little bit based on how things are going. It is very difficult to know how things will go until you try it and I can understand accidentally creating something that is OP but that doesn't mean you take it out completely. Make some tweaks and try it again.

actually yes, that would be awesome then people would be dying everywhere, at this point its all a bunch of mobs that are being range casted all day or dexxed. We need some chaos within. Also fix the fucked up guard zone outside northeast vesper. Get some pvp action. While thats being messed with, lets add in a MOB BOSS
