You can just tame a serpent, bring it to town, release it and it may poison someone before getting whacked. One legal way to do this without getting whacked.

I log in all the time to my shop gater dead from a serpent bite.

There certainly can be something said about a new player showing up, logging into the game and finding a very busy and active Brit Bank. Dock's are great but new players don't really understand that is where people afk.

There is a solution-ish thing for this, any character with less than 4-5 GM skills who are intent on town killing, make murder counts automatic IE the person does not have to be at the keyboard to give murder counts..

In all seriousness though, this is Ultima Online and should remain as such, we really do not want a Maple Story clone...
