What were they thinking? This should never have been added. At the very least it should only tell you that there are RDAs active...its not like people dont have the locations marked already. It shouldn't tell exact locations

I got the gem and upgraded to show portals. Would like to know what exactly the other upgrades do.
How much of an increased drop chance for 2m?
What increase to tracking ranges?
The gem also seems to only pick up the first character on any account it is held by - means it is only useable by that char?
I also agree - just knowing the portals are active in the world is enough - saves wasting time tracking if they are done.

People said the same thing about Butlers, which is funny because a butler doesn't give you any advantage necessarily. I'm not sure how I feel about this. I also have done exactly (1) RDA so I really don't care.
Not sure if I like these Gems of Portal. Kinda defeats the let's not alienate or run off "average joe" thread from earlier. Now after putting the time in to find and work up a RDA "average Joe" can look forward to being raided by large guilds/pk's who put really no effort into finding it.

They took them down because your guild was exploiting a bug with the item (teleport to RDA) that was not intended. And you ask for a refund.

Exploiting? I paid the millions and I clicked the button that popped up. Big exploit there huh? They release new items w/out patch notes and expect us to read their minds? If you were in irc, you would have seen that I posted there what it did, and POWER had one too. It is not our fault that we got all the RDAs done before you/your guild bought one.

More talk coming from your ass. I went inside the abyss from the gem I bought and saw you guys running it. Once I realized that the "Display Active Portals" function was teleporting me to the RDA (without my dragon...so double glitchy) I realized it had to be a mistake. Ran around for a bit and saw you guys in there. Did not take part.
You however decided it was a great opportunity to run an RDA!
Different mindsets I guess.

An item is introduced, costs millions, and it teleports you to an RDA, so we used it as it was implemented. Everyone w/ one of those items had the same functionality. It is not like we logged out inside a dragon RDA for months or anything...
If a controversial item is introduced, you'd think a bit of clarity on what its intended functions are and maybe a bit of testing before introducing it may have been a good idea?

Did you complete the RDA's while it did function? You paid for handjob and got one. Now it's over and you want a refund? Meanwhile any new player has no idea what an RDA is or get the chance to even start a talisman or afford relics.
If you want a refund then make it fair for the rest of the shard. Do a revert to before the item was introduced.

Something was implemented. It had a control that it wasn't supposed to have. No one knew about this until the RDAs were already done. Yes, this new item should not tell you where it is or teleport you to it. You guys are attacking duck face like he did something wrong. He used it as he thought was intended and was not the only person with it. You guys act like your flipping victims of duck face. Such a exploiter...... freaking please.....you all would of used it the same way. There are no respectable people on this server that would never use a bug to benefit them or their guild. Especially the people that are replying to this post.

I agree, everybody gets a free pass one time with broken shit. Report it and move on. This is nothing compared to the prolonged exploitation of broken shit by others. Some of those even reported and busted other players and turned around and continued to abuse the same broken shit...so really this is small potatoes. Gotta give it a try and see how broke shit is though.
I disagree with the whole refund thing and the general attitude. While I think this whole new gem thing is dumb as can be, I'm sure when shit is fixed Duck will get what he paid for. I would love nothing more than for him to get a refund and for them to scrap the whole thing but that seems unlikely.
