Alright ladies and gents! This Friday we'll be hosting another Friday Night Fight Knight! This time we'll be hosting a duel (on foot)! The location will be announced tomorrow as we're preparing the tournament arena's finishing touches (I'll include a pic and map on the original post like I did for the Jousting Tower)... Check back tomorrow night for updates!

Updated the original post with pictures and a map of the Dueling Dungeon; Fort Korisson! Hope to see everyone there! Ask any questions you might have! Special RP guests are the Golden Gauntlet Mercenary Company for additional security at the event!

The contract bound by honor of word has been made...
Sir and Torus met at Fortress Korisson to discuss the duties and details of the contract between the Knight's Guild and the Golden Gauntlet Mercenary Company for matters of extra security at the upcoming event. Rumor has it that many folk from many walks of life, land and sea, will be attending this ruffian style dueling tournament! If what is whispered in taverns is true, this group of sell-swords will be sure to make well wage of their word in gold!

EVENT SUMMARY: DEC 2, 2016
1. Signups started with lots of ale... So much ale that our Knight in charge of packing the duelists potion bags accidentally placed bottles of ale in place of the potions! We think the fighters liked that better anyway...
2. The contenders for the grand prize and all the glory!

3. The matches began and bets were placed! Patrons were tightly gripping their seats as final blows were made!
4. Just then, when focus was on the fight, scoundrels that only would dishonor such an event happened to infiltrate and gain trust of the noble knights, only to take advantage of the moment and evict Lady Skye Wolfbane and Licinius of Trinsic outside where a boat appeared seemingly out of nowhere blasting cannon fodder at the front door. Salt belongs at sea. The VCC has claimed territorial rights over the sea, but has breached their jurisdiction and attacked land; knight territory specifically. The knights will not stand for this.
5. The Golden Gauntlet Mercenary Company took their duties to high alert and began doing what they do best to calm the confusion and quell those who joined in on the chaos so as the event could continue inside.
6. As patrons got back to their seats and ale, our tournament carried out to the prize match of 100k between OG Rhinestone and a tortoise! Onlookers watched with intensity as the evenings champion took his crown! Congratulations, a tortoise, champion of tonights Fight Knights Event! Well fought, sire!
7. Thus ending the evening, as our guests went away with gifts that were kindly donated by @Popstarpirate (a most excellent and skilled artisan in the craft of jewelry making) and bellies full of ale, pockets lined with bet winnings!

Little insight about our winner and his past.

An Investigation has taken place on the recent events at our first two Friday Night Fight Knight events.
At our most recent event, at the Dueling Dungeon, the VCC attacked members of Trinsic and the Knights have stated they will not stand for this.
After speaking with Captain Van Raily ( @Dewderonomy ) he has made clear that he feels it is important to note in this matter that this is not the first offense at our events. He is correct. @Johnny Nox and @Serj Tankian have made first offense at our very first FNFK event two weeks ago in attacking him:
However, that does not excuse a retaliation in the manner that it was handled by he and his crew. The offenders from Trinsic are still on the ban list from the Jousting Tower
and the only important note of this detail that drove the VCC to this kind of response is that it should clear the name of @Torus Moore and the Golden Gauntlet Mercenaries from any ties to the most recent event which I was personally responsible for in that I friended the VCC members prior to the event and did not remove them when it began, which allowed them ta abuse the ability to eject @Skye Wolfbane and @Licinius into the cannons waiting just off shore at the expense of my gullibility:
None of the Golden Gauntlet Mercenary Company have Co-Ownership at our venues so they could not have been responsible for friending @Fayte and @Dewderonomy ... Again, it was my mistake and an oversight on my part when my intent was simply to grant them access into the building as the security was set to friends while we were finishing setting up for the event.
Were the VCC's plan just a bit slower they might be on the ban list of the Dueling Dungeon as we speak, but they are slippery when wet... The actions of all parties involved as transgressors are all held accountable equally for their actions. This, simply being the second offense in a tit for tat game of tag, has brought the situation to an addressable level of attention; neither is more or less offensive.
Should anyone from here on out find themselves banned from an event venue without reasonable explanation, ye will not be removed from the ban list and unwelcome at future events.
We here at the Knight's Guild hold these events to teach the community about respecting the enemy on the battlefield and preserving virtue through tradition. We set down our wars for a mere blink of an eye in the lifetime of conflict to compete in sport with one another, and as always, go right back to our war when it's done. This is the civilized way of life. This is what keep Order and keeps society from destroying itself with all of these wars...
Moving forward, the Knight's will show the Virtue of Compassion and all parties will be forgiven and pardoned for their offenses to this point. Should any individual transgress against the said law, ye will find yarself uninvited, unwelcome and unable to do more than harass the yard gnomes in the front lawn at all future events, as these events are separate from the personal issues outside of them.
We welcome all players, guilds, communities and individuals to join us for a night of fun, and ask that ye leave all personal issues at home or stay there with them, please. All who attend are friend; we ask ye do not behave as foe.
Thank ye all who have been such grand guests and cooperative in the events we have held so far. Because of that, expect ta see more events in the future!

Ahhh, a picture is worth a thousand words, especially moving ones. Take it lightly as ye may Captain, ye and I both know that ye and yar mistress took full advantage of me and the situation to only add to yer wall of trophies I'm beginning to doubt were so valiantly won. Boats are too big to fit under bridges, my friend, consider thine role and do not confuse my kindness for foolishness. Ye fooled me once, the shame is on ye, and since there will be no second fooling, the shame remains on ye.

2. Sir Solo Exceptional made a rally speech while we prepared our ceremonial initiation joust:
3. The Commander and the Champion of the Knights Guild consecrate the joust with the opener:
4. The Champion represents the Knight's Guild with honor! Let the games begin!
5. As the night went on, jousters fell from their horses and rose to glory! There were also some minor (and somewhat entertaining) obstructions on th'main drag:
6. As well as ruffians, as usual... Outside was a bloodbath and the Golden Gauntlet Mercenary Company did an excellent job at keeping it outside of the tower. Great job Mercs.
7. Some people earn their reputations...
8. And some people like Clownfinger deserve the worst. This person, from the guild G&G asked for a horse in order to compete in the joust and when @Skye Wolfbane was kind enough to loan hers, he recalled off with it. In some, there is no honor. NO member of this guild is welcome to any future events of ours until this horse is returned. Whomever the leader of this guild is should step forth and put your members in their place and have them give it over lest be marked as shard trash henceforth. Should there be a shred of good in your guild, your leader will bring the horse forward if not Clownfinger directly to Lady Skye, and all will be forgiven and forgotten. If not, this will continue...

9. And in the end, we had our Champion for this weeks Friday Night Fight Knights! Macias of Trinsic! Congratulations Macias!
10. I'd like to say that Cobeck had one rough night.. This lad died to a mixup of weaponry (someone mixed up a gm weapon with the vendor bought weapons for his opponent), he got assassinated with a lightning bolt as he barely survived a match, he went afk and nobody knew it and when his turn came up he had to forfeit his place in the semi finals - and then to top it all off, to blow off steam he just wanted a strong drink... It killed him. Again.
Hope to see ye back next time, Cobeck! haha
