the gold is stored in your bank as credit then
simply say balance; your gold is still accounted for.
If you want the credit to become visible inside your bankbox, simply make a check for the total of your balance.

Don't be, do you know how many mechanics you would have to perfectly memorize to not ask questions like these? I know I don't know all the mechanics and I have been around a good while.

Don't.....I had stacks and stacks of checks in my bank because I didn't know about "deposit" and I took gold to vendors for quite a while as well

@Elvera There's no reason to be embarrassed, this topic has come up SEVERAL times. The credit system, as far as i know, is completely unique to this shard. But also for others in the future, it's best to leave the title and information to help spread the word.
im sure there's hundreds of players here who don't know that this is the case, you are definitely not alone there! I only know because a customer told me hehe

When
your at the bank here it's like a real bank...you have cash checks and credit...if you say "deposit" and target a pile of gold and it get turned into credit...then you can write checks off your credit or hit from vendors etc.
