So I have been doing some fishing, finally got me a small boat, and I am not sure if locations make a difference, or what i should persue. I payed for the 20k whirl pool thing but I havent done them yet, I have some MIBs and some nets saved up from just fishing. So I am just curious what other fisherman do, what methods you use to be successful.

I feel being a solo fisherman is dangerous, I get killed by deep sea elementals, and whirl pools seem like they would be crazy with one person.

So i guess what Im asking is, what tips or strategies do you have for a young fisherman?? What is the best locations to fish in?

Better have another 45K in the bank to pay for a license or the Pirates up in Trin will blow it to pieces and take everything you got.

1) Buy the Trinsic Insurance..Its a funny thing until you lose your items and your boat is in the bottom of the ocean. Yes, these guys are the real deal and well, Pirates.

2) It is always good to have a some friends on a guild or just someone you know that has bard skills, mainly Music/Provocation. Use that skill to your advantage when trying to keel the mobs.

3) Seems like you should be farming these with an alternative character. Maybe if you don't have a guild, make a provo/archer.

4) Magery is definitely a must for both characters as it will allow you to cast Magic reflection,recall,gate,summon Deamons/Energy Vortex's. Don't forget hiding, as it will allow you to chill out on the end of the boat without getting ganked by any sea creatures.

5,6,7,8,9,10) As far as solo fishing well, there are other posts in the PVM section about fishing as well as in the guides. some of this may seem redundant to others but yea, this is a forum and questions including some of mine will be answered someday. Oh, its also good to fish anywhere out in the deep but more fishing skills the better ,120 max for best results.

The sea is a big place even when looking for people to pirate its empty most days and lets be honest you just pay the ransom and move on. If you are carrying 50+ mibs on you and are semi afk then u deserve to lose them....
