Create colosseum-style mounted arenas with duel-pit rules. Nocut pvp is too boring and repetitive, and duel pits are too small and simple. If there was actual fun instanced pvp then people would at least have options other than dungeon PKing for action

instead @Toddi tell me what you and SMASH think about re-establishing a pubblic system of pvp, 3 new militias like White Sharks, grey wolves and Green Coccodriles...to encourage everyone pvp, anti trolls-abusers, with a a new small pvp castle base in wahalla, with 3 sides entrances, where everyone (exactly like 1500 years ago, when even women were holding bows or hot oils to try kill people from inside castles) will be able to enjoy some consensual good pvp daily action, with a smart trackin system that will encourage same number fights.

i got some ideas about a pvp random event, to really push pvp and fairplay mentality at the same time into this poisonous community, becouse at the really end is that's how you really isolate/mute all those few trolls / trashtalkers / abusers who poisons many.
should be like this more or less:
'Random Militias Mixed Raids' --> PRIZED <-- (i don't know what, something worth atleast 100k i guess on market per partecipant of the winning team, and something worth 40k for all the others who partecipated) should happen on saturnday and sundays at least 5 in 2 days, all the militians who been active at least 3 hours in the entire working week will be able partecipate, all partecipants will enter a gate in wbb / bux, they'll go inside a random waiting room (jail style where they cant kill each other but only use the Bank and talk bullshit.. ), and after max 7-8 minutes
some counselor or staff or much better a script (cool events needs anyway to be monitorated live of course by staff) should split the players depending theyr militias in order to create 3 teams ALL with MIXED militians players.
Teams will be moved for 90 second in seperate rooms with theyr own new color for the event, after those 90 seconds event will start.
You let them fight for gruesome starting from the 3 sides, in the new base in wahalla (if eppy and shane give us the love and the opportunity to create this) those events with mixed players will have defintly not a single team on the call abusing or simply being more skilled / or better than other teams simply becouse there WONT BE TEAMS INVOLVED.. this will create really nice and clean fights.. and have people respecting other people..

This is how the staff should fix the shard, connecting his good part of the comunity, guaranting fair fights, and really PROMOTE the PvP.. the best 'part' of uo i've ever played

Group pvp could be a lot more interesting if it wasn't conducted in a giant open field where the only viable strategy is sync dropping.

when everything is private ur feeding best enemy of the shard, the hate, forcing every team fighting any other team doesnt help the pvp,it will down to 0% connections between guilds, never u'll coworking between militias, = only hate and trashtalk.

I like this idea -- I suggested something similar on another thread, as a place for people newer to pvp to practice group fighting. Not sure how it would be less boring and repetitive than no-cut pvp though.

Militia is public. red vs blue is public. blue vs red is public. everything in this game is public what you talking about.

What if a new player wants to pvp has not time to get involved into a guild?

1) how the fuck militita is not public ? you can just join the system by clicken a button on the guild menu everyone can do it.
2) there are alot ppl that play fulltime red only.
3) everyone can go militia alone or in a big group there is no number requirement for that.
4) we dont hate anyone we just got competive spirit.
5) noone of us has 40 toons most have 21 like most vet have.
6) i dont see why guilds cant "co-working" without anything called faction if they want to cowork , there are lot guilds that are allied who are working pretty well together?

the only true thing he ever said in 45 posts, @AreYouKidden is that this small pvp community (not all, but a part) is a bit affected by the 'fear of death' , wich is strange for pvpers, becouse pvpers are supposed to die, sooner or later, when that sensation is too strong will make people avoid fight when they are in not in a good number,In poor words when always the same are going out whatever number they have, others tend to go no cut only when a cospicious numbers of them is online,this has nothing 'bad' etically talking, but since numbers are low this mentality is not letting the pvp flow stay active all day.
