Swamp Dragons can be ridden by anyone! You don't need to be a Tamer and it isn't part of the meta program. Literally anyone can ride and it doesnt add armor rating but it gives a max of 20% dmg reduction from any mob. Very handy for whirlpools, RDAs, Champs and Talisman Templates! Make yourself the ultimate PvMer and get your swampy suited with a ETC Barding Deed!

reason is, it takes the prescribed amount to pull off the craft regardless and the returned materials usually always goes to the crafter with the hammer since not only are you paying for the service but also the cost of the charge on the hammer, not to mention it has been a standard practice for quite some time now.
