It would be really awesome if escorts could recall with us like a bonded pet. I have a few chars that I like to play with that don't have enough magery (and never will) to do a gate spell, but I'd like to be able to do an escort on them once in awhile.

Maybe you could increase the timer between escorts to help with it if that's the issue? Although I don't see a recall being THAT much faster than a gate. Especially with a macro to double click the gate for you.

I get that escorts are already easy money as it is, but it's just a thought

Escorts have always been a way for the mage to make money - having enough magery to open a portal for them to get to where they need to go. Just having them recall with you.....the whole idea of it loses its essence in my mind.

Okay I get that. I just feel that there shouldn't be any reason that a dexxer with just enough magery to recall in and out of places can't get in on a little bit of the action as well. Mages have a history of being able to make more money as it is (especially on a tamer). Not saying a dexxer can't make bank as well, but it requires a little more imo.

I do it with both my dexers with no magery. Just get 3rd toon to gate 3 escorts every 5 min....

I walk the escorted party to each destination and if a scary ogre or ettin crosses our path I use him or her as a meat shield and gtfo
