Yes I joined Trin my first week of UO. Even after having not played in over a decade I recognized Skye's incompetence and complete lack of involvement. I made fun of her for not even knowing her guildies names. Nor did she ever get into team speak.
Let's see what guilds I've been in.... PSB (until it went inactive), 247 (until they were dismissed), LORE (got bored of the pixel chase), EQMS (over 1 year in and counting).
I used to insult EQMS because we'd have skirmishes. The fights were still fun. A look at my forum post history will show that EVEN though I wasn't in EQMS I still shit all over arguments that said they were too big. Before my tenure at EQMS I still argued that guilds show grow in size to match their strength.
I still support that idea today.

I was not particularly nice at that Fafnir on account of $ reds trying to stop us and blues that were dying and creating too many magma elementals. After stat'ing the reds and running off the blues I finally finished him off.

Take the missionaries for example. "Ill give you food and save you from your famine, if you only forsake ur traditions and pray to our god now..." And what usually happens to the missionaries after kindly offering food? Well sometimes they converted some folks or they were eaten, killed or removed from the territory.
Its not about what your demanding, its that your demanding anything at all. Just say "Hey PK free Champs on the Server!" Consider it a right off for ur PR department. Thats why i do big bow giveaways at the bank. No conditions, just free bows for all.

Sometimes though there is a terrific solution that benefits all parties involved. My suggestion is for incentivizing PvP. PvP'ers see their efforts rewarded, PvM'ers can dabble in PvP for benefits, non-PvP'ers can enjoy quieter dungeons.

For a minute, I was pissed after reading this. But unlike most people, I read the whole thread. Here's how I see it, not that a single person cares.
If you do anything other than bank sitting, you run the risk of being PKed. That's just life in UO. I spent a lot of time in EVE which is very similar in that sense. In both games, there are groups of people who prey on others. Some of these groups offer "passes." Most charge for these passes. Basically, EQMS is giving you a FREE pass, and all you have to do is throw a purple robe over top of the shit you're already wearing. Seems pretty simple to me. Bottom line is this: if you choose not to wear the purple, then you run the risk of dying. IE. it's just another day in UO, and there's really no point in bitching, unless of course the bitching is about being PKed in UO, in which case LOL. It's your choice. Nobody is forcing you to do a damn thing.
I, for one, enjoy the thrill of knowing that any minute, a sea of red could wash upon me and send me to the ankh. I have a few simple rules that I follow for such occasions:
-Don't trust ANYBODY. I assume every person on this shard has a red in his back pocket.
-Hiding. Get good at it.
-Runebooks. Keep that shit open at all times. If you're paying attention, you can hit that button and be gone before they find you.
-Don't overstay your welcome. My typical farm in any one place will last 10-15 minutes, and I'm out and on to the next place.
If you think this shit is bad, you should've been around back when 247, and POWER, and a few others were around. What a shitfest that was.

It is EQMS that is disrespecting @Skye Wolfbane and @Jack Scallywag and all of TRIN by saying they have bad leadership. When I was in an alliance with TRIN, Skye was always around. To disrespect her the way you all are doing is just wrong.
