TRIN's problem is no leadership -- you and skye rarely play and that leaves the guild RARELY doing things like champs or RDAs. Your members get tired of logging on and having no organization and nothing to really do... thats when they start looking for other guilds. Instead of looking at EQMS as the reason TRIN is failing, look at yourselves.

This is a good point. Who wants to log on and have no one to play with? I like the fact that when I log on to play UO there is usually someone to play with and talk to in mumble. We've learned to work in groups and to help newbies because it builds our community. This is made possible because we've got a guild leader who makes the effort to keep things structured.

When other guilds provide zero effort to organize or train their members they predictably watch it fall to shit. They have two options. They can make the effort to better themselves or they can cry on forums. This whole thread proves Skye and Jack chose the latter.

PS) I've seen Trin members spam "kind person" and Skye found it amusing.
PSS) I made a suggestions thread to crowd source possible solutions that benefit all play styles and Skye trolls it rather offer meaningful input.

Keep hating. Keep begging for Trammel. I can't wait to see those relic and 120 taming scrolls become as valuable as a 105 tinkering.

The difference is that trin guard has ~3 members online when theyre playing. EQMS has dozens.
Consequently, you stand a chance of fighting trin guard. EQMS, not so much.
Thus, Trin guard creates a surmountable challenge; EQMS does not,

So because we have a lot of people on during 3 hours a day, around 11pm est - 3am est, that means we should nerf EQMS as theyre ruining the server? But I thought we controlled everything 24hours a day by zerging 20 deep?

its EU primetime right now -- I remember a time when anything that happened during EU primetime you KNEW $ was going to raid it.... sadly $ fell apart due to internal issues between @Bobby123 and the rest of his guildies and now theyre no longer really a factor.

All that matters is that you have more fighters playing than anyone else at any given time. That screen shot is evidence that you do. No other guild has 6 fighters online right now.

We have 5 people actually there in mumble(im on it through my phone) -- of those 5 people, 3 of them are fighters and 2 are newbs... are you saying 5 people is enough to dominate the entire server?

Haven't you been in the majority of guilds on this server at some point before you joined EQMS? Funny you saying other guilds should do this and fo that when you yourself gave up and joined a guild you no doubt hated when you were in LORE/wrekt/whatever the fuck other guild.

The number of group activities going on at any given time is going to be a function of the number of people online.
It's mid-day and mid-week, so there might be 1 champ happening right now, and there would be very few people there. Moreover, they wouldn't all be in one guild and so they wouldn't all be on comms together. Five people in comms together would take it. So yes five people could dominate whatever is going on on the server right now. Your numbers of online fighters increases as the number of other players online increases, so as long as it remains proportional (and there's no reason to suspect that it doesn't), then you should be able to dominate whatever is going on at any given time.

There's also the very important fact that about half of the population can't connect right now. So if you have 6 on during mid-day mid-week when half the population can't connect - then you'd probably have 12 on if they could connect. A dozen eqms in comms during the least busy time is a huge number.

@GluttonySDS I was actually working my butt off to raise funds, recruit and provide some pvp and protection for pvmer's at champs etc for some months. Between a few rl things and honestly getting worked up over the total bullshit attitude of you guys, I gave all my shit away and took hiatus.

I still browse the forums, because I love UO and UOF. I just keep hoping something will change for the better that will give me the real motivation to give it another go. I just hope for everybody's sake some true compromises and issues can be resolved.

Who is leaving and why?

The PVPers left because their egos couldnt handle getting smashed by EQMS newbies...what a huge loss to the UOF community that the IRL toxic shit talkers of POWER left in defeat and Aga/Marley's crew left and took their "l33ter than you" uoforever mentality with them. They are now playing on a server with 1/5th of the population of UOF and even so are crying over there... the ego driven PVPer who thinks theyre gods gift to PVP because theyre good at 1v1 isnt something that is going to really add much to the community here...plus they will be back(just like when they left for uoforever after being defeated off of here by EQMS the first time).

Maybe you think its the common blue farmer who is leaving UOF for the other shard? Why would they do that -- the other shard has 2 zerg guilds already formed(surprising considering they have such small population) and there are wands and bolas which will be used on newb blues who have no idea whats coming. In addition to this, there is NO STAT LOSS AT ALL THERE so why a pve-centric blue thinks they will have a more enjoyable experience there is beyond me.

So in summary -- who did we lose? Toxic and "elitist" PVPers whose egos couldnt handle dying to newbs who grouped up to overcome their lack of individual skill..... SUCH A TRAGIC(and sadly temporary) LOSS TO THE COMMUNITY!!

again - keep talking about another shard and let me know how that goes for u when staff like @Shane @JoeB @Adam @eppy @halygon sees.

Are you guys really that upset that all you have to do to safely do a champ spawn is wear some purple clothes? You realize we are making a compromise and giving the server safe champs for an entire day forever and the only thing we ask is you wear purple and yet you still cry and *****?

Dont wear purple, dont come to champs, cry on forums, do whatever you want.... the choice is yours!

Its not about the free pass. Tbh that is super cool of u to help the server and give w breather for younger players. But the issue is the purple thing. Some of us dont look good in purple (Im more of a winter). The others just dont want to have to show fealty to EQMS.

Think of it like microsoft and apple. Microsoft got so big they crushed apple. Got so big infact they were getting in trouble for monopolizing. Microsoft then lent apple money to build up again. They realized if they were alone in the market it would be no fun and they would receive endless harassment from the regulatory agencies.

So with that i say go with ur first intension. Inspire growth in the server. No one has a problem with a PK guild on the server but people will appose any version of fealty being asked of them. Id say its in yours and the server long-term best interest to go with ur plan but lose the purple nonsense. Its only going to make people gripe more.

So if your intension is to show some mercy then do that but dont put conditions on its or u just seem like a dick and like u were never serious to begin with.

So because people have too much pride to wear purple(which costs them nothing) I should lift that restriction too? Sorry, wont happen -- if people cant follow a simple request in return for an entire day of not being PKd and being helped at champs then they do not deserve the gift we are giving to the shard.

Doing the right thing to us would be to continue raiding every champ we can... however we made a compromise to benefit the people crying hard -- if they refuse to make a compromise on their end(wearing purple) then that is their choice.
