Some of the other clients have worked on smoothing out the framerates, and changing such things. other servers have tried it as well, with different tilesets that are a little more pretty, but the reality is, you just aren't going to hit 2018 graphics with the old engines they use, so why try to make it half way there? it just isn't worth it.
The reality is, most people tend to play UO for the nostalgia and feel of it. Most of us actually really like the graphics that UO offers.
