Elemental Ban Spellbook Glitch?

So, I managed to farm/buy enough event fragments to purchase the Elemental Ban Spellbook off the rewards gump. However, I'm not noticing any damage bonus against elementals. I tried a bunch of different things. Am I doing something wrong or is the spellbook bugged?

Unfortunately it appears to be no more functional than a different coloured Spellbook. Have paged gms about it but likely due to time differences no response yet.

I tested it in various locations on a range of eles, and no difference in damage range equipped or not. Really hoping this is fixed

I believe it was said in irc that staff would have to come fix any books purchased. Just page in.

A lot of the time you might not see a gm until 8 ish eastern (1 hour from now) just be patient people do sleep.

Thanks for the input fellas. I'll page a GM with hopes of getting it fixed. I tested it on a variety of ele's, too. It should be a quick easy fix!

really? i bought it during the first eveng and i see the little white circle when hitting mobs during shame champ... i can kill earth elem in 1 hit... but i never tested if it gave me more damage...

are you holding it in your hands while casting?

Ya it was bugged bro. Staff confirmed. Went from 2 shot earth ele to!1 shot kills post fix woot

Pre fix it was 'a Spellbook' post fix 'a elementallist tome'

Yeah, it got changed to a elementalist tome and works fine now!
