Donation Items to Gold?

I did have a character previously but I had no idea what my username or password is so now I have to start over, oh well. It's fine but I did read about how when creating a new character you can donate and turn over the items for gold. I'm not sure where to start as I don't really know item prices/best way to do it/what's hot/etc. I was looking to spend about $17 for the donation and then turn that around into gold to invest in regs and arrows to make my first character an archer bard.

Just to get me started. Any recommendations or suggestions? I'd LOVE to recover my old account but I have no idea how to do that either lol.

Staff may be able to help you recover your acct so I would recommend contacting them to see if you can be helped.

In either case you can donate and sell your coins because they are transferrable. It is more advisable to sell the coins and freedom of choice for the buyer as purchased items usually sell for less than they cost from the vendor.

That is unless items are removed from the vendor permanently which has not happened in too many cases, or items that have just not been in the rotation for a long time.

Awesome, good to know. I did just find two of my character names, I have no clue the account name so no clue there. But I did find a bunch of emails and a confirmation email from when I first registered the account. Wasn't sure the specific process, if I just messaged shane, made a post somewhere, submitted a post or how it all worked.

There are a couple posts with info on where to find your accounts folder on your hard drive. If you know the names of your accounts you may get lucky and enter the correct password, or at the very least be able to give staff your IP address and your account names which they can use to assist you.

I think Shane is the person you need for this, don't think other staff can help you at least that's what I found.
