Does "exceptional" increase Bard skill chance?

Yes it increases success rate. Not sure about breaking point but I would assume so

Ahh thanks, never really barded much in my UO career, workin on it now on a tamer/bard. What's the going rate for a GM instrument? I've seen diff prices, like outside Destard is 500gp for a non GM etc due to location

Yeah exceptional instrument prices fluctuate. 500g for a non exceptional instrument is ridiculous though when you can buy them for less than 50g from tinker npc's lol

Well ya thats what i mean, its something crazy like that, but outside destard, next to a healer. they sell like single potions for 100gp. pretty cool/funny.

Exceptional gives 20% bonus to barding chance. This means that you can bard a mob that has a barding difficulty of 100 with 80 skill.
