Did I read somewhere or was it a dream? (Crystal Portals?)

Cant remember if that was the name but on OSI there are crystal portals and corrupted portals. What they do is you say where you want to go while standing at it and BOOM U GO!

Dungeons: You say Dungeon Deceit and it takes you to the front.

City: You say Britain Mint and you arrive at the bank.

Did I wake up one morning and read about something similar or was it a dream? These are my favorite addition to UO so it very well could have been me obsessing!

Finding another use for Gate Scrolls + it looks nifty, but it is going on the donation vendor... Hrm.

seems to me that for the cost of a gate scroll, you can open a one way gate for no mana cost.

well since its on the dona vendor, it cant really be gamebreaking etc
the no mana cost is nice but one way kinda makes it cosmetic overall
also im curious if these will always go to a set rune or will there be any variable?

There was a video; they go to set places. You pick the city or dungeon and poof.

Not really just that. It keeps you from needing to have a whole bunch of books though. You can instant travel anywhere. Its pretty awesome.

They have to be locked down in your house, and use 1 gate scroll per. I would hope that it's not a 1 way gate, but either way it's a pretty sweet idea...
