Hello.
First of all, I don't complain about the gameplay here, I think it's very balanced as it is. I'm not an expert anyway so why the fuck should I judge.
However, isn't the dexxer a bit too simple?
Whenever I show this game to someone, they get bored at seeing their character just playing alone swinging its weapon, so they quit it calling it "boring, "static".
Dexxer are very strong, I'm not talking about that, good dmg etc, don't get me wrong
But, come on, a dexxer player only has to target the enemy and follow up. Okay... we have the explo pots, that well timed greater heal, debuffs etc but overall it seems too simple compared to a mage for example. The mage is very complex to me. Oh well fuck, I play with lag maybe thats why. nvm I suck lol
So what can we do?
Creating a book similar to the spellbook, a sort of "tactic book", a mix up of chivarly and "bull"shido (bushido) skills,
along with some special shit, in all of this lowering the base dmg ofc, and empower it with the spells. So, instead of hitting and waiting for the 30-40 hit, one has to use the spells correctly otherwise the base dmg will be low.
Like "monks" type of warrior in rpg's that use their "ki" or "energy", "mana" is equivalent to "chi" "ki" "qi" so I think it can fit, a mana-filled hits. Or sometimes, even stamina can be used as they have more of it.
Along with that, I was thinking about an active parry. Like, you need to click the parry hotkey in the right time as the swing comes and you have that chance to parry, I think all of this can really improve the game SKILL-wise, I mean as a Skill Based gaming. Because as I said, it's well balanced as it is. Maybe my mentality is too "complex", even if I'm a casual gamer I like really put myself into 100% and try my best with difficult things.
It's a '97 game and you all grew up with this, okay, maybe I'm just out of place, and I'm sorry if the idea sounds stupid to you, I understand the nostalgia. I believe the gameplay is great, I'm not saying "omfg fuck dexxer" bla bla nah they're fine, just not my conception of playing, I tried to use them, I know you all dexxer pro can fk me anyway so skills matter, but I switched to the mage because I wanted that challenge that I haven't felt with dexxer, that's all. I suck with mages, so don't flame me, I know already, I am new and I'm not good, but I don't care, if I die I know I have more understating and I can improve. Even if I get trash talked by funny Dexxers that only need to click two buttons and follow me, but whatever I just smile to them (it's my fault at being unexperienced after all)
Thanks for listening.
