yeah, I found a few people were interested in mixing in pieces of studded, however I got alot of feedback about people taking too much damage with it; so i just went back to the standard

yeahhh, but i feel is you're getting any dex loss, you might as well take the -10, as you won't hit max attack speed with a mixed set. (or so i believe)Dex loss it is

Yea I don't seem to have a drop in swing speed at -10 dex from 100 but I do seem to be taking longer to heal

I would still go with the standard chain suit w/ ring sleeves and gloves. The new dex loss for chainmail isn't that big a deal in actuality; it does lower max stamina, but not enough to really justify switching suits. It was more of something that was needed for overall combat balance, and long overdue, than it was a nerf of any kind. Chain is still the best I think.

My concern is I balance my stats so I'm already at 85 dex and that would drop me to 75 dex.

staff has stated there are no drop points. there are not 3-4 swing speed tiers. swing speed is on a continuous spectrum.

^^ Yup, attack speed scales with whatever your current stamina is. Higher is always better (new brackets start at 55, 65, 75, etc), but that's as complex as it goes. Devs said this and I tested it myself to confirm.
